Use & Care

Q: Is my Fiesta® oven, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe?

A: Yes. Fiesta dinnerware is safe for oven, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer. However, avoid sudden temperature changes (e.g., moving directly from freezer to hot oven) to prevent thermal shock.

Q: How high can the oven temperature be?

A: Fiesta is safe up to 350°F (177°C) in a conventional oven. Do not use under broilers or on direct heat sources.

Q: What causes gray marks on my Fiesta®?

A: Those are usually metal marks from cutlery or metal utensils rubbing against the glaze. They are harmless and can be removed.

Q: How do I clean metal marks off my Fiesta®?

A: Use a non‑abrasive cleaner like Bar Keepers Friend or a paste of baking soda and water. Gently rub with a soft cloth or sponge, then rinse.

Q: How do I remove coffee or tea stains from Fiesta® cups and mugs?

A: Make a paste of baking soda and water, or use a mild bleach solution (1 tablespoon bleach to 1 quart water). Soak for 15–20 minutes, then wash thoroughly. Do not use abrasive scouring pads.

Dinnerware

Q: Is Fiesta® Dinnerware lead safe?

A: Yes. The Fiesta Tableware Company removed lead from select pieces in 1986 and completely eliminated lead from all products by 1992. Modern Fiesta is fully lead‑free and safe for everyday use.

Q: What material is Fiesta® made from?

A: Fiesta is made from high‑quality ceramic (vitrified china). It is durable, chip‑resistant, and non‑porous.

Q: Is there a warranty on Fiesta® dishes?

A: Fiesta offers a 5‑year chip replacement warranty on all first‑quality dinnerware items. For items purchased from us, we will assist you in filing a claim with the manufacturer. Please see our [Warranty Information] page for details.

Q: How do I know I have first‑quality Fiesta® dishes?

A: First‑quality Fiesta has no visible defects (chips, pinholes, uneven glaze). We sell only first‑quality items. “Seconds” or “irregulars” are not sold on our site.

Q: Why are there different back stamps on my Fiesta® dishes?

A: Back stamps (the embossed or printed mark on the bottom) have changed over the years. Vintage pieces may have different stamps. Modern Fiesta typically has an incised “Fiesta” logo. This is normal and does not affect quality.

Q: How can I tell I have genuine Fiesta®?

A: Genuine Fiesta has a heavy, smooth feel, consistent color, and the “Fiesta” mark on the bottom. It is never sticky or uneven. If purchased from our store, you can be confident it is authentic.

Q: Will you ever bring back a retired color?

A: We are an independent retailer and do not control Fiesta’s color decisions. However, Fiesta occasionally reintroduces retired colors (e.g., Lemongrass). For updates, sign up for our newsletter or check the official Fiesta announcements.

Q: How do I purchase a retired color?

A: Retired colors are no longer manufactured. You may find them on secondary markets (eBay, Etsy, etc.). We do not sell retired colors unless we happen to have limited overstock – please contact us if you are looking for something specific.

Flatware

Q: Does Fiesta® flatware have a warranty?

A: Yes. Fiesta flatware (stainless steel) is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty against defects. For items purchased from us, please contact us for assistance.

Q: Is Fiesta® flatware dishwasher safe?

A: Yes. Fiesta flatware is dishwasher safe. For best results, use a gentle detergent and avoid mixing with stainless steel of different grades to prevent spotting.

Glassware

Q: What are the features and benefits of Fiesta® glassware?

A: Fiesta glassware is made of durable soda‑lime glass, thick and sturdy. It is available in coordinating colors and is dishwasher safe. Not recommended for oven or freezer use.

Q: Is Fiesta® glassware dishwasher safe?

A: Yes, top‑rack dishwasher safe. Hand washing is recommended to extend the life of any printed designs.
